All kicks are direct, except any kick-off or goal kicks. Any infraction in the penalty box, (i.e. obstruction, dangerous play, etc.) results in a direct free kick on top of circle of penalty area. All kicks must be taken within 5 seconds after the referee has signaled the kick to be taken. Defensive Wall must be 15 feet from the ball. |

Players may only play with one team per tournament level. |

Fighting, Unsportsmanlike Conduct and Abusive Language toward a referee: automatic red card, team plays short-handed for three (3) minutes - unreleasable. Player is ejected from the game and must sit out a minimum of one (1) additional game. If offense is very serious a harsher penalty will be assessed. (Possibly suspension for the entire tournament). |

For all Co-ed teams: A team must have a minimum of three(3) women on the field at all times. |

All substitutions are on the fly including goalkeepers. Goalkeepers must be designated in a different color. |

Five second rule and goalie restrictions: the goalkeeper has 5 seconds to release the ball after handling the ball. Any intentional back-pass to the goal keeper (by a teammate) with any body part below the waist is an infraction. A direct free kick at the top of the arc will be awarded. No punting is allowed. Rule Change: Bouncing the ball is allowed this season. |

Spitting: Automatic 2 minute penalty for spitting on the field or in the players boxes. If you have to, please use the garbage cans in the players boxes. |

Slide tackles: There will be no slide tackles! Violation is a direct kick and subsequent blue card may be given at the referee’s discretion. |

Time Penalties |
|
Blue card - 2 minutes releasable
Yellow card - 3 minutes unreleasable
Red card - 3 minutes unreleasable.
In addition, a player is ejected from the game and must sit out the next game. If offense is very serious a harsher penalty will be assessed. |

If a goalkeeper is given a time penalty (blue or yellow card), someone else from the team can serve the penalty. If he/she gets a red card, the penalty will be applied as if he/she was a field player. |

Duration of the Games: Each team is guaranteed 3 games of 25 minutes each. Semifinals and finals are 25-30 minutes in length.
